राजेश्वर मंदिर संवर्धन
महाराजा यशवंतराव होळकर गढीच्या बाहेर उत्तरेस एक सुंदर शिवमंदिर आहे. उपलब्ध माहितीनुसार हे मंदिर अहिल्याबाईंनी बांधलेले आहे.मंदिराचे शिखर खास माळवा पद्धतीचे चुनेगच्चीयुक्त आहे. नंदीमंडप सभामंडप गर्भगृह अशी रचना आहे. बाजूच्या चौथऱ्यावर धर्मशाळा होती. मंदिराच्या गाभार्यात पूजेच्या पुरातन वस्तू आजही वापरात आहेत. एका कलशावर 'तुकोजी होळ' अशी अक्षरे दिसतात. नक्षीदार घंटी आणि शिसवी पेटी आहे. या मंदिराच्या गाभार्याच्या दरवाजाला वेगळीच म्हणजे सध्याच्या लॅच पद्धतीचे असते तशी कुलुपी पद्धत होती आता ती काळाच्या ओघात खराब झाली आहे. दरवाजा लोटून घेताच आतून कडी लागते. आणि एका लांब चपट्या किल्लीनेच ते उघडता येते. येथील मंदिराचे आणखी वैशिष्टे म्हणजे येथील नंदि हा किल्ले रायगडवरील नंदिशी साधर्म्य सांगतो अर्थात हा विरासनातील नंदी आहे. येथील शिवपिंडीचा बाण हा वेगळ्या दगडातील आहे.
मंदिराचे बांधकाम हे अत्यंत सुंदर आहे. परंतु,सद्य स्थितीमध्ये कालापरत्वे केवळ शिवपिंडीची पुजा होत असल्याने मंदिराच्या कळसावर व अन्य ठिकाणी झाडाझुडपांचे प्रमाण वाढले आहे. तटबंधीमध्येही झाडे वाढली आहेत. सदर झाडा झुडपांमुळे या ऐतिहासिक सुंदर अशा वारशाला अपाय होण्याची शक्यता आहे किंवा तटबंधी कोसळण्याचीही शक्यता आहे. या सर्व बाबी लक्षात घेऊन बा रायगड परिवाराने येथे स्वच्छता मोहिम आयोजित करण्याचे ठरविले आहे.
मागील वर्षभरात सातत्याने मोहिमा घेऊन मंदिराचा परिसर स्वच्छ केला, मंदिरावरील अतिरिक्त झाडी काढून टाकली, तटबंदीवरील वाढलेली झाडी काढण्यात आली.
परिवारातर्फे पुढील काळात मोहिमा घेऊन गढीचा कायापालट करण्याचा मानस परिवाराचा आहे. आपणही या कार्यात हातभार लावण्यासाठी मोहिमेत सहभागी व्हा.
