‘’ लिंगाणा ‘’ हा शब्द ऐकला कि कान सावध होतात. जातिवंत सह्यभटके व आताचे ट्रेकर्सच्या भाषेत लिंंगाणा म्हणजे काळजात धडकी भरवणारा सह्याद्रीच्या रांगेतील एक सुळका, पण आमच्या साठी हा लिंंगाणा म्हणजे पृथ्वीच्या उदरातील तप्त ज्वालामुखीच्या उद्रेखातुन शिवलिंगाच्या आकाराचे तयार झालेले एक आव्हानात्मक शिखर....!
स्वतःचे वेगळपण सिद्ध करण्यसाठी जणू या सह्याद्रीतून डोकं वर काढून डौलदार रुबाब दाखवणारा "किल्ले लिंगाणा‘’
याला गवसणी घालायचं म्हणजे येरागबाळ्याच काम नाही. याला जिद्दीचा, कसलेल्या हाडामासाचा जातीवंतच पाहिजे.
शिवपुर्व काळात प्रामुख्याने कोकणातुन देशावर जाणाऱ्या घाटवाटांमध्ये होणाऱ्या दळणवळण आणि हालचालीवर लक्ष ठेवण्यासाठी याचा वापर केला जात होता. इ. स. १६५६ मध्ये जावळी घेताना स्वराज्यात लिंगाणा आल्यावर महाराजांनी याचे दुर्गमत्व पाहून याचा तुरुंग म्हणून वापर केला. म्हणूनच म्हणतात रायगड राजगृह तर लिंगाणा कारागृह आहे.
गगनाला भिडलेल्या या लिंगाण्याला दोर लावायचं चंग बाधुंन बा रायगड परिवाराने लिंगाण्याचा अभ्यास करत अनुभवी टिमच्या सोबत डिसेबंर २०१७ पासून आजवर बऱ्याच लिंगाणा आरोहण मोहिमा घेत साधारण १५०० पेक्षा जास्त भटक्यांचे लिगाणा आरोहणाच स्वप्न पुर्ण केल आहे.
सर्वसामान्य लोकांना लिंगाणा आरोहण करता यावे म्हणून परिवाराने कमी खर्चात मोहीम आयोजित केल्या आहेत. प्रस्तारोहणाच्या पूर्ण साहित्यासहित सुरक्षितरित्या बऱ्याच जणांनी लिंगाणा आरोहणाचा अनुभव घेतला आहे.
या मोहिमांमधून मिळणारा सर्व नफा हा गडसंवर्धन अन समाजकार्यासाठी वापरला जातो. त्याचसोबत या मोहिमांमधून परिवारास निष्ठावंत हात मिळतात.
